Compared to the previous ST 2.0, this re-envisioned version is 20% lighter, which results in less water absorption and drag.

The specific characteristics of the new fabric provide a longer-lasting compression and, consequently, greater durability. In addition to its performance, ST NEXT utilizes sustainable materials. Over 60% of the yarns used in its fabrication come from pre and post-consumer waste, which would have otherwise been destined for landfills. The FINA approved status of the ST NEXT makes it the first of its kind to be suitable for competitions.

We are constantly working to develop more sustainable garments and accessories to reduce our environmental impact, while still guaranteeing the same distinctive performance, protection, style, comfort and fit that sets arena apart. This commitment led us to launch in the market the first FINA-approved racing suit made with recycled yarns, Powerskin ST NEXT. According to recognized international certifications, these sustainable fabric sources include PET plastic bottles and industrial waste such as yarn and chip waste. By working with recycled PET, nylon, silicone and polycarbonate, we are reducing the use of plastic and petroleum-based resources without sacrificing the benefits and characteristics of the fabrics.
